I am proud to announce that the ULMS Racing Series will be returning to Raceway 7 in 2009. The last time the Northern Tier Incorporated ULMS Late Model Series graced the Conneaut, Ohio oval was in August of 2003 when Dutch Davies made a last lap pass on his brother Ron in turn three and four to grab the ULMS Tri State LM Challenge (Topless) event.
The Northern Tier Inc. ULMS Late Models will return to Raceway 7 on Friday, June 12 for a $2000 to win Late Model event. The United Emod Series grabs another date on their 2009 schedule as they will head to Raceway 7 on Friday, September 11 for a $3000 open wheel Emod invasion!
“Raceway 7 is one of the finest facilities in our northeast region and I am very proud to work these two events into our growing schedules for both series, commented, ULMS Director, Chris Zuver.” “My talks with Terry Adams have been eventful and our payouts for our series fits the economy right now, I look forward to the two dates on our schedule to return to Raceway 7 and bring the action of the ULMS Racing Series back to Raceway 7 on June 12 and September 11.”
The Northern Tier Inc. ULMS Late Model Series will also be returning to Little Valley Speedway in Little Valley, NY on Friday, July 3 for the annual Freedom Daze Event paying $3000 to win. Ron Davies has won the past two ULMS sanctioned Freedom Daze events in 2003 and last year. ULMS Director, Chris Zuver, commented, “Little Valley Speedway is a very crucial speedway to have on our schedule as John Charlesworth of Little Valley Speedway took the first big step in kick starting our series in 2001 and to have them on board still is a true testament of series and race tracks working together. I look forward to having our series return to Little Valley on July 3 as part of their Fourth of July events at the Cattaraugus County fairgrounds.”
With the addition of Raceway 7 and Little Valley, the Northern Tier Inc. ULMS Late Models schedule now consists of ten events at Tri City Speedway, McKean County Raceway, Arcade International Raceway and Woodhull Raceway. The United Emod Series series schedule now consists of seven events with three of them paying $3000 to win. UEMS will now visit, Mercer Raceway, Tyler County Speedway, Tri City Speedway, Raceway 7 and Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway.
More information can be found at the website www.unitedlatemodelseries.com. More Dates for both series are still expected to be announced within the next 48 hours.
